Why: When Andy lands the job as second assistant to Miranda Priestly, she's introduced to a world she thought she'd never enter. When she meets her co-worker Emily, tempers fly and eventual secret friendship. I personally enjoy the relationship shared by Emily and Andy because although the girls are virtually set up to hate eachother, they soon share an unspoken friendship. Although Emily would never admit it to her, she's quite impressed by Andy's work abilities and somewhat jealous. Together, they make each scene they carry fun and hiliarious.

Why: Mona and Tamsin are both compassionate souls, and when they meet for the first time by chance they discover just that about eachother. Tamsin is home from school due to a suspension and Mona runs from home any chance she has. Together, their friendship turns into lust and eventual obsession for eachother. You can easily see and feel the chemistry between the charaters. As each of them confides in the other you feel just how drawn to eachother they are. Mona's struggle to accept her brother's new lifestyle is what brings her and Tamsin closer, and Tamsin's need for attention seals the deal. I loved watching their scenes, it was 100% believable to me, and completely irresistble to watch.
Moments:
Tamsin: So what are you gonna do with your life?
Mona: I'm gonna be a lawyer.
[pause]
Mona: I'm gonna get a job in an abattoir, work really hard, get a boyfriend who's like... a bastard, and churn out all these kids, right, with mental problems. And then I'm gonna wait for the menopause... or cancer.
